English is one of the most important and widely used languages in the world. It is an international language and is used for communication in many countries. In the present age of globalization, learning English is very important for everyone, especially for students. It helps us communicate with people from different countries and cultures. English is also very important for education. Many books, Newspapers, Magazines, Research papers, Websites and Educational Material are written in English. A student who knows English well can easily understand this materials and gain more knowledge. English is also necessary for higher education because many subjects and courses are taught in English. Besides education, English plays and important role on getting a good job. Many offices, banks, companies and international organisations require employees, who can read,write,speak and understand English. Good knowledge of English can therefor create better career opportunities. It is also useful when we travel to foreign countries because English is commonly used for communication at airports, hotels, shops and other places. Moreover, most information on the internet is available in English. By learning English, we can use the internet more effectively and learn about new ideas, inventions, science, technology and differents cultures. It also helps us to improve our confidence and communication skills. It enables us to communicate with people from different parts of the world and share our ideas with them. For this reasons, learning English is very important in our daily life. We should learn English properly by practicing reading, writing, listening learning and speaking regularly. However, while learning English, we should not neglect our mother tongue. We should respect and use Bangla as well as and learn English as an international language. It conclusion, English is a key of knowledge, education, communication and better opportunities.So, every students should try to learn English carefully and use it correctly in practical life.
